Ecto was started in 2012, with advanced analytics for the fish farming industry... but then realized the huge gap in data (availability, accuraccy, accessibility) and workflow management
In 2020, Ecto switched its main focus to the development of a contemporary management system that would simplify data recording and increase efficiency of operations
Ecto.Jobs was launched in 2021 and instantly received significant traction from clients in all main protein industries - fish, poultry, and pork - with 8K+ pieces of data entered each day
The animals we eat keep us healthy. We have a responsibility to return the favor, on farms or in the wild.
We use data to get to the bottom of things and create new knowledge, even when the outcomes are challenging or inconvenient.
Farming is hard work, so we work hard to make it easier. We put ourselves in their shoes when we develop our innovations.
